Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is soliciting a firm-fixed-price construction quotation for emergency tornado-damage repairs at Federal Correctional Institution Marion. The selected contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals to repair the three-phase overhead primary distribution line and two transformers, in accordance with the Statement of Work. The work is to be completed within 90 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed. The project is a 100 percent small-business set-aside under NAICS 237130. Quotations must include the completed specified solicitation pages, a bid bond, a specification sheet and product submittal information, and required representations and certifications. The solicitation also requires past-performance and bank-reference information, with questionnaires sent directly to the contracting officer by the references and bank. Performance and payment bonds are required after award, and the project has a stated magnitude between $250,000 and $500,000.
