Description
The City of Springfield is soliciting bids for qualified contractors to provide on-call, as-needed journeymen painting services at various municipal and school locations throughout the city. Selected contractors must furnish all materials, equipment, and labor required to perform the work. The City may award up to three contracts to the lowest responsible and eligible bidders. The estimated value is not to exceed $500,000 per contract per year. The initial contract term is one year, with two one-year renewal options at the City's sole discretion. A 20% Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation goal applies, and Massachusetts prevailing-wage rates apply.
