The Springfield Water and Sewer Commission is soliciting bids for removal and replacement of the Cobble Mountain Hydroelectric powerhouse’s existing double-girder, top-running bridge crane. The replacement crane must have a single main hook with a rated capacity of 45 tons and operate on the existing runway and rail with minor modifications. The project is a rebid of IFB No. 26-28 and is estimated not to exceed $500,000. The solicitation requires attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting unless the bidder attended the prior meeting for IFB No. 26-28.
