Description
The City of Mississauga is seeking a consultant for a firm three-year contract, approximately December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2029, to provide project-driven subsurface utility engineering services through written task orders. The scope includes utility records research, utility mapping, surveying, geophysical utility designation, field utility locating through non-destructive vacuum excavation, and Quality Levels D through A investigations under the applicable ASCE utility-investigation standard. No minimum quantity or expenditure is guaranteed. Deliverables may include accessible reports, composite utility drawings, survey and spatial data, test-hole records, field sketches, editable CAD/GIS files, quality-control documentation, presentations, and meeting materials. The consultant must manage task-order work plans, schedules, permits, traffic control, utility-owner coordination, quality assurance, and pavement restoration. Bidders must hold a Certificate of Authorization issued by the Professional Engineers of Ontario and submit firm information, project-team resumes, an organizational chart, a response to the Statement of Work, methodology and approach, a Skills and Training Strategy, sustainability questionnaire responses, references, pricing, and a list of proposed subconsultants.
