Description
The City seeks on-call property survey services as needed to support feasibility planning and design of public works projects. Work includes property surveys with metes-and-bounds descriptions; defining property lines, rights-of-way, easements, utilities, structures, pavement, curbing, watercourses, and other site features; and preparing topographic survey data with two-foot contours. Deliverables must be AutoCAD-compatible, with electronic survey drawings provided for each assignment and large-format prints available. The contractor must have a full-time New York State-licensed land surveyor on staff, provide the surveyor’s name and registration certificate with the bid, and be capable of responding to service requests within two business days. Work must be supervised by a New York State-licensed land surveyor. Roadway work requires compliant traffic maintenance, and applicable prevailing-wage requirements apply. The contract term is 24 months with one 12-month renewal option by mutual agreement; two awards are anticipated, with a primary and secondary contractor.
