Palm Beach County's Art in Public Places program is seeking a professional artist or artist team to design, fabricate, and install architecturally integrated tile art on the entrance/ticketing building of the renovated Aqua Crest Aquatic Complex. The artwork will be surface-mounted to the top third of the building's exterior walls, covering approximately 960 square feet across five panels on the south, southeast, east, southwest, and west facades. The art must be made of durable tiles (e.g., ceramic, porcelain, terracotta, stone, glass) that create flat, even surfaces and comply with the Florida Building Code and TCNA guidelines. The selected artist will receive a maximum fixed fee of $348,000, inclusive of all expenses. Up to three artists will be shortlisted and receive a $1,000 honoraria to develop concept proposals. The application deadline is October 19, 2026, and the project is expected to be completed by April 2028.
