Description
This project involves comprehensive rehabilitation and expansion of the Carrollton Utilities Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant to an average daily capacity of 2.5 million gallons per day. Work includes mechanical and electrical rehabilitation of existing clarifiers, Biotower trickling filters, UV disinfection system, lagoon liner, and electrical room, as well as modification of piping and valving systems. New construction includes a Biotower Pump Station and a UV disinfection channel. The project is partially funded by federal EDA funds, subject to federal regulations.
