Description
Boone County Fiscal Court is soliciting professional engineering and design consultants for four independent consultant lists: federal-aid projects, county-funded projects, standalone geotechnical services, and standalone stormwater and drainage design. Potential services include roadway, sidewalk, streetscape, structural, building, surveying, architecture, site, environmental, traffic, construction engineering and inspection, grant-writing, planning, right-of-way, utility coordination, geotechnical, and drainage/stormwater design services. Stormwater work specifically includes drainage design, detention and retention basins, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, MS4 support, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and floodplain analysis. Geotechnical work includes engineering, drilling, and laboratory testing. Multiple consultants may be selected for rotation lists. Resulting contracts have a two-year initial term, with up to three one-year renewals, and an upset limit of $1,000,000 per contract; individual Letters of Agreement may not exceed $500,000. Proposals must address the firm's qualifications, relevant experience, project team, workload capacity, project approach, and DBE participation. Federal-aid teams must satisfy specified Kentucky Transportation Cabinet prequalification requirements, while DBE certifications should be included when applicable.
