Description
The City of Edgewood is seeking qualifications from firms to provide ongoing, as-needed professional engineering services. The scope includes capital improvement design and construction support, capital and infrastructure planning, roadway and sidewalk planning, traffic and safety analysis, pavement management, development and subdivision plan review, regulatory compliance, surveying and mapping, GIS support, grant assistance, cost estimating, inspection coordination, construction administration, and attendance at meetings as requested. The selected firm will support routine municipal operations, special projects, and long-term planning, and will designate one qualified team member as the City Engineer. Responses must address the firm's understanding of the request, experience and resources, ownership and history, key personnel and qualifications, relevant experience, references, statement of qualifications, and authorized signature. Three references from comparable local governments or organizations are required for both assigned personnel and the firm. Kentucky transportation-related prequalifications are identified for several service areas; certain geotechnical, structural, and traffic qualifications are not required initially but must be obtained if those services become necessary.
