The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to procure firm-fixed-price effluent wastewater laboratory analysis services for the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center. The scope includes furnishing all necessary tools, equipment, materials, permits, labor, supervision, and other resources for wastewater effluent sample preparation, collection, storage, transportation to a laboratory, analytical testing, reporting of results, and consultative services. Work is expected during the medical center's normal daytime business hours, excluding federal holidays. The planned acquisition is a 100% set-aside for qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses verified in the Veteran Small Business Certification database at the time of proposal submission. This notice is a presolicitation announcement rather than a request for offers; the solicitation is planned for issuance on or about October 22, 2026, and will provide the definitive submission requirements and deadlines.
