Description
The Town seeks a lender to provide $385,329 in tax-exempt lease-purchase financing for a 2026 Ford F-550 ambulance and related accessories and equipment. The lease is anticipated to be dated on or about November 17, 2026, and structured as five annual payments: an initial payment of $70,000 followed by four substantially equal annual payments of principal and interest. The first payment is due November 17, 2026. Bids must state the interest rate, interest-computation method, total interest for the period from November 17, 2026, through November 17, 2030, and all fees or other charges, including any prepayment penalty or premium. The lease is subject to annual appropriation, is not a general obligation of the Town, and requires an unqualified bond-counsel opinion at closing. The lessor is responsible for compliance with applicable securities laws. Bids requiring the Town to establish a deposit account relationship may be rejected as nonresponsive.
