Description
The City seeks a contractor to provide a flexible lease program for new and newer used current-model-year vehicles, including pickup trucks, passenger vehicles, and SUVs. The City may exchange vehicles for lease periods ranging from one to twelve months, with quantities varying according to departmental needs. Vehicles must be in safe operating condition, have clean and well-maintained interiors, and be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Initial delivery is required within 45 days of the City’s request, and a replacement vehicle must be provided within three business days after an accident. Lease rates must include unlimited mileage. The contractor is responsible for supplying and supporting the leased vehicles; the City handles routine maintenance, repairs for damage during the lease, and window tinting through its existing contracts. The contract has a one-year initial term with four one-year extension options. The solicitation requests a proposal describing the vendor’s methodology, relevant experience and references, personnel and organizational structure, and other specified response sections, along with required forms and a price proposal.
