Description
The University System of New Hampshire, representing the University of New Hampshire, seeks a qualified architectural and engineering team for the Dimond Library Student Success Center and Building Modernization project. The scope includes programming, existing-conditions assessment, stakeholder engagement, integrated architectural and engineering design, code and permitting support, energy modeling, cost estimating, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding assistance, construction administration, final completion, and warranty-period support. The project will renovate an approximately 212,000-square-foot, five-story library and create a Student Success Center supporting academic advising, tutoring, writing, and accessibility services. Design responsibilities include modernization of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, telecommunications, security, and building automation systems; hydronic piping and pump replacement; HVAC and electrical upgrades; building-envelope, masonry, roof, window, entrance, and site improvements; interior reconfiguration; hazardous-material coordination; accessibility and code compliance; furniture and interior-design coordination; BIM; record drawings; and phased construction planning for an occupied library. The anticipated construction budget is $41,000,000, with design services anticipated from November 2026 through July 2027 and phased construction anticipated over approximately four years.
