This pre-solicitation concerns the anticipated competitive procurement of 2,215 gyro spin-up gas generators, identified by NSNs 1377-01-053-0537ES and 1377-01-319-3847ES and part numbers 1004-3 and 6066100-02. The quantity comprises 1,163 units for the U.S. Air Force and 1,052 units for foreign military sales. The notice is not a solicitation. Interested responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation for consideration. Contractors that are not already qualified must submit a qualification package under RFO 52.209-1; the anticipated procurement is not set aside for small businesses. The proposed solicitation is expected to be issued in October 2026, with award anticipated around March 2027.
