Description
The City of Placerville is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a consulting firm to provide professional civil engineering services as an as-needed Project Manager for their Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects. The selected firm will enter into a Master Agreement for Engineering Services, with a total payable amount not to exceed $2,000,000 over a potential seven-year period (3-year base with two 2-year extensions). The selected consultant will be responsible for administrative support, project coordination, planning, implementation, CIP scoping and budgeting, preparing staff reports, and assisting with grant applications and procurement of other engineering consultants. Services may involve work funded by local, state, and federal sources, requiring familiarity with Caltrans and Federal Highway Administration requirements. The first Task Order is anticipated in August 2026 for the Western Placerville Interchanges, Phase 2.3 - Westbound Off-Ramp Project. While remote work is permissible, in-person meetings at City Hall or other Placerville locations will be required as needed.
