HUBBARD CONSTRUCTION COMPANY INVITATION TO BID Hubbard Construction Company is inviting all Small Business Enterprise (SBE) certified by the City of Tampa, Hillsborough County, City of St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, or as a DBE certified under the FLUCP program to bid on this project for the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority on October 8, 2026. Rehabilitate Runway 1L-19R and Associated Taxiways and Northwest Remain Overnight (RON) Parking Apron. This project consists of the rehabilitation of the Runway 1L-19R and associated taxiways and the construction of a new Northwest Remain Overnight (RON) aircraft parking apron at Tampa International Airport. The Contract time for Substantial Completion is 437 cal. days; + 30 cal. days for Final Completion. Plans and special provisions are available on our Sharepoint site. Description
This construction project includes rehabilitation of Runway 1L-19R, associated taxiways, and construction of a new Northwest Remain Overnight (RON) aircraft parking apron at Tampa International Airport. The broader work includes pavement rehabilitation and repairs, grading, drainage, utilities, fencing, pavement markings, lighting, communications, CCTV, service-road modifications, and related electrical systems. The bid requires the Owner-provided Bid Form, online Bid Schedule, required certifications and qualifications, and bid security of at least 5% of the total bid amount. The project includes a 7% Small Business Enterprise goal, mandatory pre-bid conference and site inspection requirements, and a stated 437-calendar-day completion period after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. An Owner's Allowance of $2,000,000 is included for specified unforeseen and supplemental work.
