Description
This Sources Sought notice is market research only and is not a request for proposals; no solicitation, specifications, or drawings are currently available. The U.S. Navy is seeking commercially available sources capable of providing a SmartJib Model 12000 Launch, Operation, and Recovery System (LORS), including the Survival Systems USA Inc. modifications identified in the notice. The system is a freestanding handling system for aircraft ditching training, with a 12,000-pound dynamic personnel working-load capacity, dual lifting mechanisms, independent motors and cables, programmable rotation and travel controls, emergency pneumatic retraction, monitoring and sequencing functions, operator controls, and on-site operator training. Respondents must submit a capabilities statement of no more than five pages, complete the attached Company Information form, and provide product technical information and specification sheets. Responses are for market research and will not be compensated.
