The City of Key West is seeking bids from qualified marine contractors to fully replace A-Dock and replace the decking on D-Dock at Key West Bight Marina. A-Dock work includes removal and reconstruction of the existing timber dock, including piles, pile caps, cross-bracing, stringers, decking, electrical, potable water, sewer pump-out, fire-protection systems, and new dock accessories. D-Dock work includes removal of the existing composite decking and installation of IPE hardwood decking, with new 316 stainless-steel hardware and fasteners. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and incidentals required for a complete and operational installation. Work must comply with construction documents prepared by Tetra Tech and existing FDEP and USACE permits, including USACE permit SAJ-2021-00839. A mandatory pre-bid conference and optional site walk are scheduled for October 22, 2026.
