The City of Hendersonville Police Department is soliciting bids for one new patrol boat meeting specified minimum requirements, including a bay-style or similar center-console hull, T-top hard cover, 22- to 32-foot length, 8- to 10-foot beam, 8- to 24-inch draft, a 200- to 300-horsepower Yamaha or Suzuki outboard motor, trailer, and onboard electronic/navigation system. The boat must be new and unused unless otherwise approved, and the bid price must include required equipment, preparation, freight, delivery, unloading, setup, and incidental costs. The successful bidder must accept the City's 2016 Robalo R160 boat and trailer as a trade-in and state a separate trade-in allowance. The vendor must coordinate inspection, transfer, delivery, and acceptance; provide manufacturer documentation and warranty information; identify the authorized dealer or service location for warranty service; and complete delivery within 30 days of the executed agreement unless otherwise approved. Bidders must submit pricing, trade-in allowance, product specifications sufficient to demonstrate compliance, proposed delivery date, warranty information, and authorized dealer or service-location information. Required insurance includes workers' compensation, employer's liability, general liability, automobile liability, and applicable professional liability coverage.
