Description
Fisheries and Oceans Canada requires maintenance dredging at Ladner Small Craft Harbour to a targeted design depth of -4.5 metres, including mobilization and demobilization, dredged-material storage on a barge, transport, and disposal at the Point Grey disposal site. The mandatory price form estimates 36,000 tonnes each for dredging and disposal at sea, and all work, cleanup, and demobilization must be completed by February 28, 2027. Optional work includes additional dredging; pile-driving mobilization; ground-crew mobilization; dredging and pile-driving equipment day rates; float and wharf repairs; hydrographic surveying; materials; and disposal of construction waste. Repairs may include decking, bullrails, rubboards, gangways, flotation, brow logs, fenders, and bearing, fender, or batter piles. Hydrographic surveying requires multibeam surveys, CAD and PDF drawings, georeferenced contours, and cut/fill volumes. The solicitation requires a bid security of at least 10 percent of the bid amount, limits eligibility to Canadian contractors, and requires specified insurance and contract security after award.
