Description
The City of Redondo Beach is soliciting proposals for comprehensive day-to-day management and operation of the Redondo Beach Marina at 181 North Harbor Drive. The scope includes on-site management, slip and dock administration, tenant and lease services, mooring reservations, boat hoist operations, maintenance and facilities management, custodial services, emergency and safety response, security coordination, financial management, reporting, and operation of a future public boat launch upon completion. The selected firm must provide an on-site management office and Marina Manager, maintain operational, maintenance, safety, emergency, and security plans, administer leases and revenues, maintain tenant and vessel records, coordinate with City departments and public-safety agencies, and submit detailed reports and proposals. The initial agreement is for three years with an option to extend. Proposals must include qualifications, at least three comparable marina-management references from the past five years, assigned personnel and resumes, organizational and staffing plans, technical and program-management plans, a proposer-generated statement of work, transition plan, operations and maintenance plans, emergency and security plans, cost proposal, and sample reports. The boat launch is an unpriced option.
