Description
Lea County seeks qualified firms for a pool of on-call civil engineering consultants. Services may be assigned through project-specific task orders and include planning, design, surveying, right-of-way mapping, drainage, geotechnical and hydrology/hydraulics work, roadway and traffic engineering, water and wastewater design, construction management, materials testing, construction inspection, and related public works engineering. Potential project types include utilities, drainage, roads, bridges, trails, and parking lots; construction costs may reach $10 million. The solicitation anticipates multiple awards and a master agreement with each selected firm. The initial term is one year, with three optional one-year renewals. Proposals must address the evaluation criteria and include the required transmittal, compliance responses, proposal narrative, and specified disclosure forms. The New Mexico preference certification and supporting certificate are optional for proposers seeking the applicable preference.
