Description
Torrance County, New Mexico is soliciting proposals for Life, AD&D, LTD, and Vision benefits with an effective date of January 1, 2027. The RFP includes minimum requirements, general and line-of-coverage questionnaires, and exhibits. Vendors must be licensed in New Mexico or willing to obtain a license, provide guaranteed rates for at least two years, and include detailed plan summaries. The county requires a 10% flat commission for vision and 20% for other lines, and vendors must agree to waive actively-at-work provisions for currently enrolled employees. Proposals must include performance guarantees for vision, and all questionnaires and exhibits must be completed in full. The contract will be awarded on a stand-alone basis for each line of coverage, with potential discounts for multiple lines.
