Description
The Bureau of Land Management’s Socorro Field Office requires demolition and removal of existing wildlife-water infrastructure, hauling and installation of two government-furnished BOSS storage tanks, construction of a 1,000-square-foot metal catchment, and approximately 1,000 linear feet of pipe-and-cable fencing. The work includes associated plumbing, possible tank support framing or an access ramp, a 10-foot gate, water-gap and bracing work, mobilization and demobilization, environmental protection, and site reclamation. The government will furnish the two 16-by-8-foot tanks and a gutter; the contractor is responsible for transporting them to the project site. Vehicle access is available, and helicopter access is optional. This is a firm-fixed-price construction requirement set aside for small businesses. Quotes must include a completed and signed Standard Form 1442, a response to Sections L and M, a price schedule with the required five-element price breakdown, and acknowledgment of Amendment 0007 and Amendment 0008. A payment bond or irrevocable letter of credit is due within 10 calendar days after award. The revised period of performance is November 17, 2026, through January 25, 2027.
