Description
The Bureau of Land Management's Socorro Field Office requires demolition and removal of existing wildlife-water infrastructure, hauling of removed materials, installation of two storage tanks, construction of a 1,000-square-foot metal wildlife-water catchment, and construction of approximately 1,000 linear feet of pipe-and-cable fencing. The work also includes associated plumbing, possible tank support framing or an access ramp, a 10-foot gate, water-gap and bracing work, mobilization and demobilization, environmental protection, access-road rehabilitation, and reclamation. The project does not include a separate catchment reservoir; the storage tanks are the only reservoirs. Vehicle access is available, with helicopter access also possible. The contractor must furnish the personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, transportation, permits, and supervision necessary to perform the work. This is a firm-fixed-price construction requirement set aside for small businesses. Quotes must include a completed and signed Standard Form 1442, a response to Sections L and M, a price schedule, and acknowledgment of Amendment 0003. A payment bond or irrevocable letter of credit for 100 percent of the contract price is required within 10 calendar days after award. The updated period of performance is November 13, 2026, through January 19, 2027.
