Description
Curry County is soliciting bids for a heavy-duty hydraulic detachable-neck lowboy trailer for its Road Department. The specifications call for a trailer at least 52 feet long and 8.5 feet wide, with a 15-inch kingpin, triple-axle air-ride suspension including a lift axle, an Apitong floor, a 26-foot well, an 8-foot rear center bucket pocket, LED lighting with strobes and a flasher kit, covered rear wheels, steel front flip ramps, an enclosed hydraulic pony motor of at least 13 horsepower, and two steel locking toolboxes mounted on the rear deck. The addendum clarifies that the requested trailer is in the 50/55-ton range and has three axles, one of which is liftable. Bidders must submit a signed quotation sheet and attach trailer specifications demonstrating compliance; the quoted amount must include delivery. The contract is expected to run from acceptance by the Board of Commissioners through receipt and acceptance of the trailer.
