Description
Eddy County seeks qualified contractors to provide county-wide construction, repair, renovation, alteration, and construction-related maintenance services on an on-call, on-demand, per-job basis. The scope includes building and facility improvements and repairs such as carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, roofing, masonry, concrete, sheet metal, minor demolition, and emergency stabilization or make-safe work. Contractors must hold a valid New Mexico GB-98 license. The County intends to establish a pool of multiple qualified contractors; individual assignments will be authorized separately, and no minimum amount of work is guaranteed. Emergency response capability is an evaluation factor, and the solicitation states that contractors must be able to respond to emergencies within two hours. Specialty subcontractors may be used with County approval.
