Description
Torrance County is soliciting proposals from insurance carriers for Basic Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D), Voluntary Life, and Long-Term Disability (LTD) coverage with an effective date of January 1, 2027. The solicitation includes questionnaires and benefit exhibits that carriers must complete for the coverages they quote, including plan provisions, eligibility, portability, conversion, waiver of premium, claims administration, disability definitions, offsets, exclusions, and benefit limits. Proposals must address rate guarantees, commissions, reporting, enrollment and communication materials, transition of existing insureds on a no-loss/no-gain basis, applicable Evidence of Insurability requirements, compliance obligations, and deviations from the requested specifications. Vendors must complete the questionnaires and exhibits in the requested Word or Excel formats rather than PDF, and the signature page must be completed by an officer of the organization.
