Description
The University of Waterloo is seeking several new rack-mounted servers to create a network research cluster, including single- and dual-processor Intel and AMD configurations. Requirements include specified processor, memory, operating-system storage, independent administrative networking, BMC remote management with IPMI 2.0 or newer and Redfish capability, 100GbE NICs distributed among Intel, NVIDIA, and Broadcom, standard server power connections and cables, perpetual licenses for included proprietary software, and a minimum three-year warranty on all components. The proposal must address delivery lead time, installation and configuration, acceptance testing, warranty and support, pricing, payment milestones, risks, subcontractors, and compliance with controlled-goods, export-control, and prohibited-technology requirements. The budget is capped at CAD 116,000 plus HST, and all pricing must be in Canadian dollars.
