Description
The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground is conducting market research for non-personal services supporting an Optical Gaging Products optical comparator and multisensor measuring machine. The requirement includes two on-site calibration and preventative-maintenance visits per year for each instrument, one emergency on-demand visit per instrument, minor repairs and adjustments, parts under $500 MSRP, travel, labor, lodging, calibration standards, operational testing, and calibration certificates or reports. Calibration must be traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology and comply with the applicable manufacturer specifications, ISO/IEC 17025-2017, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994. Respondents must submit a capability statement addressing relevant experience, technical skills, project and subcontractor management, staffing and resources, business size and ownership status, and ability to perform at least 50% of the work if a small-business set-aside is used. The capability statement is limited to 10 pages and must use 10-point Times New Roman font or larger. This is a sources-sought notice for market research, not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
