Description
The City of Milwaukie intends to award a sole-source contract to Knot Studio to complete the final design of Milwaukie Bay Park improvements. The existing design is approximately 60% complete, and Knot Studio has served as the lead landscape architecture and design consultant since 2018. The city cites continuity of technical work, community input, project knowledge, cost, schedule, and delivery risk as the basis for the sole-source determination. The contract is expected to be executed on or about November 3, 2026, following negotiations.
