Description
Salt Lake County Contracts and Procurement, on behalf of Public Works Flood Control, is soliciting construction materials for a 619-linear-foot gabion basket wall along Rose Creek to protect an existing maintenance road from continued scour. Required materials include Class III riprap with a D50 of 12 inches, 4–8-inch rockfill, and galvanized steel gabion wire baskets. Suppliers may bid on any individual material portion, and separate purchase orders or contracts may be awarded by line item. Gabion baskets must be delivered to the County operations yard, while aggregate materials must be available for pickup by the County operations crew during normal business hours. Installation is excluded and will be performed by County crews; quantities for riprap and rockfill may vary based on actual requirements.
