Description
The contractor will provide preventative maintenance for lift stations and related wastewater equipment at two state parks. The scope includes four scheduled quarterly service visits per year, including wet-well and pump inspections, cleaning, testing, adjustments, minor maintenance-related part replacements, and quarterly checklist and recommendation reports. Sewage and water air release valves require semi-annual inspection and servicing, including leak repairs, backflushing or cleaning, valve exercising and lubrication, and condition and recommendation reports. Related electrical panels, starters, disconnects, switches, outlets, conduits, and controls must also be inspected for code compliance and issues such as corrosion, overheating, labeling, load balancing, and grounding. The bid package states that the work is estimated to be under $150,000 and requires the contractor to perform at least 15% of the work value with its own forces. The bid form specifies completion within 730 calendar days. The sample contract is provided as a template; its blank fields and generic terms do not establish additional project-specific requirements.
