Description
Sabine Independent School District is seeking proposals for fencing materials and installation at several locations throughout the district. The requested items include black-coated, black-vinyl-coated, and galvanized chain-link fencing in multiple heights; black ornamental fencing; walk-through, emergency-egress, drive-through, swing, and sliding gates; anti-scalable fence slats; and related posts and rails. Vendors should provide pricing for the listed materials and labor, including installation, demolition, hauling away existing fencing, and painting posts. The district prefers project work during winter breaks to minimize disruption to campus operations. Vendors must provide at least three references for similar projects, preferably at Texas school districts or colleges. A current Texas Department of Motor Vehicles license and a certificate of insurance covering general liability, automobile, and workers’ compensation must accompany the proposal. The solicitation also states that subcontracting requires prior written district approval.
