Description
Longview Independent School District is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to lead an in-district charter school focused on early childhood education beginning with the 2027–2028 school year. The proposed model should support improved early academic and developmental outcomes and expand high-quality educational options for families. Priority elements include evidence-based, TEKS-aligned instructional materials; systematic early literacy, language acquisition, and numeracy instruction; diagnostic tools and targeted early-intervention frameworks; family engagement and caregiver support; and potentially instructional coaching, collaborative planning, and technology-enhanced learning tools. Proposals must comply with EDGAR guidance and are subject to funding availability and district approval.
