Description
Lindale Independent School District is soliciting proposals for district-wide dedicated wide area network connectivity using two alternatives: a managed 10 Gbps lit-fiber service and a dark-fiber indefeasible right-to-use solution. The dark-fiber option must include at least four strands per route, fiber operations and maintenance, and optional managed WAN support. The lit-fiber option must include dedicated routing equipment, 10 Gbps throughput, quality-of-service capabilities, monitoring, 99.99% uptime, latency and jitter commitments, and outage repair within four hours. The scope covers connectivity from Lindale High School to four additional district sites and includes installation, transition planning, network diagrams, technical specifications, maintenance practices, service-level agreements, and pricing for recurring and non-recurring costs. Respondents must be eligible E-Rate telecommunications service providers with valid SPIN and FCC registration numbers and must submit the district's required proposal forms, registration certification, Form 498 copy, references, certifications, conflict-of-interest documentation, and any applicable addenda or agreements.
