Description
Cherokee County is soliciting annual bids for a broad range of road materials, including crushed stone, rip-rap, concrete and ironstone materials, limestone and other base materials, pre-coat and light-weight materials, oil sand, asphalt millings, hot mix, asphalt road oil, emulsions, fog seal products, and related materials. Vendors may quote material-only pricing for county pickup or delivered pricing to county precincts and designated project sites. The solicitation also includes material delivery and application, on-site pug-mixing and screening services, fog seal and chip seal surface treatments, and full-service road projects involving materials, equipment, operators, labor, traffic control, and cleanup. Bidders must complete the provided bid sheets and required forms, submit recent test reports for each type of road material bid, and provide three customer references. The resulting contract covers a 12-month period from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with pricing firm in six-month increments subject to documented adjustment requests.
