Description
The Broward Sheriff's Office seeks biomedical cleaning and decontamination services at its facilities, offices, departments, vehicles, and other locations it operates or uses. The contractor must provide labor, materials, personal protective equipment, cleaning supplies, and chemicals to clean affected areas, decontaminate bodily fluids and contaminated surfaces, deodorize areas, and haul and properly dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with applicable regulations. Vehicle services include removing pathogens, bodily fluids, and odors. The scope includes 24-hour emergency service, seven days a week, year-round. Estimated annual quantities are provided for facility and vehicle services, but actual usage is not guaranteed. Bidders must provide pricing by service location and scope, include applicable licenses and certifications, submit operating procedures and staff training manuals, and provide at least three references. A sample invoice and applicable service reports are also required with the response. The initial contract term is three years from award, with up to two additional one-year renewal options.
