Description
This sources-sought notice is for market research, not a solicitation or request for proposals or quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from firms capable of providing hazardous waste services in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The scope includes labor, materials, tools, equipment, travel, transportation, documentation, waste treatment, and disposal, including characterizing, packaging, transporting, documenting, and disposing of waste. Responses must include company and business information, a point of contact, Unique Entity ID, CAGE Code, Tax ID Number, business type, and a capability statement describing the organization’s qualifications and ability to perform. The notice states that the VA will consider a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside, but may consider an alternate set-aside or full and open competition if responses from such firms are inadequate. Responding firms must be registered in SAM; SDVOSBs and VOSBs must also be registered with VetCert.
