Description
The City of Marysville is requesting statements of qualifications from experienced engineering firms to evaluate the existing electrical distribution and HVAC systems at the Marysville Civic Center. The work includes reviewing panelboards, circuits, feeders, protective devices, emergency-power assignments, generator utilization and remaining capacity, and risks affecting future emergency-power expansion. The consultant must assess cooling adequacy, redundancy, environmental controls, and future capacity for the server room, Intermediate Distribution Frame, and Main Distribution Frame spaces. Deliverables include a conditions assessment report identifying deficiencies, risks, limitations, priorities, and recommended corrective actions, along with preliminary upgrade plans, conceptual layouts, equipment recommendations, sequencing considerations, and rough-order-of-magnitude cost guidance. The City may later amend the agreement for detailed tenant-improvement or construction documents, permitting assistance, and construction administration.
