Description
Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District is soliciting proposals for E-Rate-eligible Internet service supporting the district at bandwidths from 10 Gbps through 50 Gbps, with incremental upgrade and downgrade options. The scope includes Internet access, transport circuits, routing and BGP configuration as needed, connectivity monitoring and troubleshooting, 128 dedicated routable IPv4 addresses, installation, and configuration of leased equipment. Proposers must provide separate pricing for Internet access, installation, hardware, circuit costs, and other required project items, with options for three years plus two annual extensions and a five-year term. The solicitation also identifies related Category 2 equipment needs, including 175 wireless access points with necessary software and licenses, 56 switches with necessary software and licenses, 44 antennas/connectors and related components, and one firewall service, components, and necessary software and licenses. The existing firewall is identified as Fortinet FG-4201F-BDL-950-36, with FortiCare support requested. Equipment must be new, warranted, and supplied by a certified reseller; the solicitation states that the wireless, switch, and related equipment is drop-ship only with no installation required. Responders must provide service-level information, an implementation timeline, three reference sites using their service for at least three years, valid SPIN and FCC registration information, and evidence of FCC Green Light status.
