America's Central Port is seeking qualified contractors to develop a comprehensive Harbor Master Plan for its two multimodal harbors: Granite City Harbor and Madison Harbor. Granite City Harbor, served by Norfolk Southern rail, includes liquid terminals, dry bulk terminals, and a general cargo dock, with much of the infrastructure originally constructed in the 1970s. These facilities require upgrades and, in some instances, total reconstruction to address modern freight demands. The project also involves addressing surrounding development and dead-end track issues.
