Description
The City of Piqua is soliciting major equipment for the Piqua 69kV The Site Substation project, identified as Major Equipment Project #24-17.9B. The scope includes furnishing a 69kV circuit switcher, two 69kV SF6 circuit breakers, two 69kV vacuum circuit breakers, and a lot of substation materials. The engineer's estimate is $575,000. Bidders may bid on the entire major-material package or on individual bid items ME-200, ME-400, and ME-500, and the City may make multiple awards. Addendum No. 2 updates the bid bond requirement to no less than 10%. The package also includes required compliance and qualification forms, including the Americans with Disabilities Act Compliance Certification, Drug-Free Workplace Compliance Affidavit, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The qualification statement requires prior-work descriptions and references. Addenda must be acknowledged and submitted with the bid.
