Description
The City of Chester is seeking engineering firms to provide civil, environmental, transportation and traffic, and related municipal engineering services. The scope includes plan review; construction inspection; design of transportation infrastructure, parks and recreation facilities, and stormwater systems; construction administration and observation; environmental permitting and regulatory-agency coordination; grant and bid assistance; surveying, easements, CAD, GIS, and Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) services. Respondents must hold applicable Pennsylvania licenses, have at least five years of experience serving a similarly sized municipality, and submit organizational information, key-personnel resumes, three to five relevant municipal engineering project summaries from the past five years, a fee structure, required acknowledgements and disclosures, an insurance certificate, and a completed questionnaire. The City may select one or more firms for an initial one-year term with optional second- and third-year extensions; this is an information-gathering request and not a solicitation for bids.
