Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting a sources-sought market research questionnaire for a potential single-award, indefinite-delivery requirements contract for mobile diagnostic services supporting the inmate population at FCI Miami. Services include CT and MRI scans, ultrasound and echocardiography, nerve conduction testing, mammography, Holter monitoring, nuclear and stress testing, PET scans, bone and joint scans, fluoroscopy, bone densitometry, pulmonary function testing, and IVP/urography. The contractor must provide and maintain the necessary mobile equipment, diagnostic-specific supplies, qualified clinical staff, administrative management, documentation, and written results and interpretations. Services will be performed both on-site in a clinic setting and at local accredited diagnostic facilities, with a minimum of two on-site service days per month and telephonic consultation as needed. Personnel will have frequent, potentially unsupervised contact with inmates and must complete security screening, facility orientation, and required health and safety training. The anticipated contract structure is one base year plus four 12-month option years. This notice is for market research only; a solicitation is not currently available.
