Description
The Missouri Department of Conservation is requesting proposals for the provision of bulk liquid oxygen (100% oxygen) for their various fish hatcheries throughout the state. Liquid oxygen is converted to gas and injected into the water to supplement fish production. The contract period is from February 5, 2027, through February 4, 2028, with two additional one-year renewal options. Deliveries will be made to multiple hatchery locations, including Montauk Hatchery, Roaring River Hatchery, Shepherd of the Hills Hatchery, and Bennett Spring Hatchery. The contractor will not provide tanks, as these are owned by the hatcheries. Tank inspections must be performed annually by the contractor, with each hatchery covering the cost of their own inspection. Deliveries must be made within two days of receiving an order, and the contractor must have 24-hour emergency service for leaks or damage. Personnel delivering the hazardous material must meet all required certifications and comply with Department of Transportation regulations.
