Description
Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) is upgrading the instrument air system at the Deerhaven Renewables facility. The project involves procuring a complete, factory-assembled regenerative desiccant air dryer system to handle the increased capacity from two new oil-free air compressors (combined 1,800 scfm at 125 psi). The dryer must be sized for a nominal 2,200-2,500 scfm inlet airflow, achieve -40°F pressure dew point, and include dew-point-demand purge control. The system must include inlet coalescing filtration, after-filtration, microprocessor controls with Ethernet/IP communications, and a NEMA 4/4X outdoor control enclosure. Electrical requirements are 115V/single-phase/60Hz. The dryer must be skid-mounted with ASME-coded pressure vessels, full 3-valve bypass, and appropriate piping. Submittals include sizing calculations, purge consumption data, pressure drop curves, O&M manuals, and drawings. Delivery is required by October 17, 2026, with installation during the fall outage (October 17 - November 30, 2026).
