Description
Sourcewell is soliciting proposals for a wide range of electrical energy power generation equipment. This includes stationary and mobile systems such as prime, continuous, backup, standby, paralleling, and modular generators. The solicitation also covers containerized, skid-mounted, and trailer or chassis-mounted generators. In addition to the generation equipment, proposals should include integral parts, accessories, equipment, and supplies necessary for the commencement, use, ongoing operation, and lifecycle management of these power systems. This encompasses items like enclosures, fuel tanks, automatic transfer switches, control systems, and block heaters. Related services are also a key component, including design, customization, engineering, commissioning, installation, delivery, training, maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance, decommissioning, and rental services. Proposers may offer complementary solutions such as inverter-based, hybrid systems, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) from renewable sources like wind and solar, provided they support the primary power generation offerings. The resulting contract(s) will have an initial term of four years, with potential for up to three additional one-year extensions.
