Description
The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) is requesting bids for the replacement of automatic vehicle gates at the Plano and Frisco Operation Centers. The project includes removal of existing gates, motors, and structural elements; installation of new cantilever sliding gate systems (basis of design: Armagate EC-290) with new concrete foundations and motor pedestals; installation of new vehicle loops and reconnection of existing access control; motorization of an existing manual gate at Plano; installation of new guardrails; and miscellaneous concrete curb, sidewalk, and driveway restoration. The work also includes associated electrical work, such as conduit, wiring, and connection to existing power and control systems. The contract term is one year, with a small business subcontracting goal of 10%.
