Description
Medina County Board of Commissioners is soliciting a single fixed-price contract for construction of a new approximately 11,227-square-foot, single-story dog shelter. The facility includes adoption and foster areas, intake and holding spaces, offices, meeting and education areas, grooming, laundry, food preparation and storage, indoor and outdoor dog housing, and specialized kennel and animal-care features. The work also includes demolition and site improvements such as parking, sidewalks, utilities, stormwater management, outdoor exercise areas, landscaping, structural, architectural, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and security-related construction. The architect's estimate is $5,750,000, and the bid documents require prevailing wages, a bid guaranty, contractor qualifications, subcontractor and supplier information, and compliance with the project drawings and specifications.
