Description
The City of Modesto is soliciting bids for a public works project involving pavement rehabilitation on Tuolumne Boulevard from Paradise Road to Roselawn Avenue and construction of a roundabout at Paradise Road. Work includes cold planing and hot-mix asphalt paving, asphalt-rubber chip seal, concrete flatwork, curb and gutter, ADA curb ramps, upgraded bicycle facilities, striping, signage, and a speed table and center crossing. The scope also includes storm drainage and water-system improvements, utility coordination and adjustments, street lighting, traffic signals, rectangular rapid-flashing beacons, landscaping and irrigation, geogrid stabilization, traffic control, construction-site camera leasing, lead compliance, prevailing-wage labor, Buy America compliance, and federal-aid DBE requirements. The estimated base bid value is $5,000,000, with a 180-working-day completion period, a Class A California contractor's license requirement, and a 10 percent bid security requirement.
